less impact on enviroment

watching no impact man. how can we make less of an impact on the environment.
buy local food, or plant the vegetables, compost, and recycle, cloth diapers.

some fun today

Just ordered some blueberry cloth training pants time to train her out side of the house. like when we go to the library, etc. she is trained at home and at grandmas house. also got some velcro best bottom diapers for daddy to start cloth dipering, he promised to give it a try.

any way today we went to the mall play area photos are posted above.

also did a craft with mila sun catchers.

saturday 11-27-10 watercolors

yestuday was painting day, me mila and milas dad watercolor painted heres some photos. and a photo of baby just because she is so cute.

potty training 2.0

so the summary is

• caught her one time to pull down underwear before going on potty.
• to wet underwear, either went on potty with out pulling down or went on floor. probably went on potty.

we will continue this weekend, hope her dad will continue when I work tomorrow.

potty training #2

number 2 why is it so exciting to have your kid do a poop in the toilet?
She can pee as long as she is naked,
and the last couple of days she tells us when she has to go poop but do we make it to the toilet no, she does do half in the toilet, but some does land on the rug, but we are getting there, and we will make it to under wear vary soon.
half is better then none, we are working on wearing underwear tommarrow, tell you more then.

underwear time on thanksgiving

so when at my parents for thanksgiving, I am on a mission, step 2 in potty training, time for undies,or cloth trainers gerbers,
so some advice from the internet,
1. keep them in wet underwear, so they learn it is not fun to be in wet undies
2. let the kid pick out the underwear(daughters favorite charecter is spiderman, so I guess we will be wearing boy underwear).
3. make a sticker chart for wearing undies and going potty pulling down underwear.

cleaning bath toys

Tuesday or Wensday is now bath toy cleaning night, depends on what days i work.
one part bleach and 10 parts water, must keep mildow away from squarters, already had to throw a bunch away, and am now replacing them, on that note mila hates water in her face, need one of those hair rinsers. I am getting them bath toys for saint nicks next month, will explain saint nick next blog.
so need to finish toys before bed.

used baby books

I would like to start collecting baby and kids books, and get a web sit going for used kids books, need to start going to the thrift store, and finding some good used books, I have been looking for used baby books online with no success.

lazy sunday

just a lazy sunday filled with coloring, playing at the park and relaxing.

mila was playing with play-doh last night and this morning. she made a mess but had fun halloween colors,it was fun should do it more..

watercolor painting with toddler

Sunday i let mila paint with water colors, she had a great time,

saturday night she had a sezier because of a high fever. but she is fine now.

gigis teeth had cut thru ( the 2 bottom)

exclusively pumping round 2

I just had daughter #2 (5 weeks early) 4 weeks ago but breast feeding is to hard she does not open her mouth wide enough to breast feed. so I need to start pumping exclusively because I want her to get my milk. so here I go, a little low on breast milk, and need to get up my supply , I average about 20 ounces a day, so every web site I looked up I need to pump 25 to 35 ounces a day.

So my plan is :

fenugreek 4 capsules 3 times a day

blessed thistle 2 capsules 3 times a day

at least drink 64 ounces of water a day

two large bowls of oatmeal a day

and pump at least 10 times a day (every 2 hours)

and of course eat a balanced diet
